IT FEELS LIKE
You’re constantly spiraling about whether you’re doing this right—overthinking everything and never fully able to relax.
Every decision you make feels like a test of whether you’re doing enough. Your mind goes to the worst-case scenario, and you can’t seem to turn it off—terrified you’ll make a mistake or that something bad might happen.
It shows up in everything—preparing for labor, checking if your baby is safe, navigating sleep and feeding challenges, how to support your baby’s development, whether to take advice from your friends and family, what to do to increase your chances of conceiving.
The guilt creeps in, and you start to feel like you’re failing. You know something needs to change, but you keep ending up in the same place.
You’ve always been the strong one.
But something feels different.
You don’t feel like yourself. You’ve always been the one who works hard, plans ahead, and holds everything together—the one who gets it right. And now you’re in a season where nothing is going the way you thought it would.
Whether you’re aspiring to be a mom, pregnant, or adjusting to motherhood, it just feels so damn hard. There’s so much pressure, so much uncertainty, and a constant stream of thoughts you can’t seem to turn off.
And it’s hard to admit, even to yourself, how much you’re struggling.
Maybe you’re wondering:
Why is this so hard for me?
Why can’t I relax or turn my brain off?
What if this doesn’t happen for me?
What if I’m not cut out for this?
Why can’t I just be present and enjoy this?
When does this start to feel easier?
Am I doing enough… am I missing something?
Hi, I’m Jessica
(Therapist, mom, & daughter of immigrants)
Motherhood can change you in ways you didn’t expect—and not always in ways that feel good.
I believe that with the right support, you can move through this season without feeling like you’re drowning in it. Without losing yourself in it. This is a space for you to softly land—where your body can settle and where you don’t need to keep it all together.
For the past decade, I’ve supported mothers and aspiring mothers navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma—especially when it shows up as constant overthinking, overwhelm, falling into patterns you thought you’d outgrown, worrying about repeating what you experienced growing up, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
As a mom who previously struggled with infertility and pregnancy losses, I know how this can feel like too big of a challenge to carry on your own. As your compassionate thought partner, I help you make sense of what you’re feeling, untangle what’s been weighing on you, and take manageable, realistic steps toward the change you need in your life.
(Serving clients throughout San Francisco, San Mateo County, the Bay Area, and California via telehealth.)
